Linkin Park - Underground V3.0 (2003)

Linkin Park, Underground V3.0, Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda, Live in Texas, Don't Stay, With You, A Place For My Head
I can't imagine how pissed people were back in the day to pay to be in their exclusive little club for exclusive music and then get this.

Linkin Park, Underground V3.0, Chester Bennington, Mike Shinoda, Live in Texas, Don't Stay, With You, A Place For My Head

Innit weird how Chester Bennington would pronounce the word "possibilities" as "POSS-EE-BIL-EH-TAYS" during live performances, when the studio version sounds pretty normal? What the fuck's that all about, huh? And what's the deal with motherfucking airline food? Fuck this world! You read that right: FUCK THIS WORLD AND EVERY WORLD INSIDE OF IT!! This EP was released just one day before "Live in Texas" was released, and features five songs from it that weren't put onto the CD version of it, and I think that's a pretty fucking weak cop-out, but oh well, these guys were pretty good live. Chester especially brings it, adding in additional screams during some rapped verses on here, and NAILS the intro to "With You". Speaking of that song in particular, when Joe Hahn does his turntable shit in that song was when, as a small young'n, I decided I wanted to become a DJ and do DJ shit like fucking up vinyl records. The performance of "A Place For My Head" is pretty legit, and ends with Chester screaming "MOTHERFUCKA!!" but CENSORED so it sounds really stupid!! MOTHERF-A!!! I'm glad that when they perform these sad songs about depression, suicide, addiction, etc, they censor swearing for this performance so the kids don't have to worry about bad words while listening to Chester Bennington voice the pain he grew up with from being molested as a child. It really makes sense!!
