Jay-Z - Vol. 2... Hard Knock Life (1998)
There really just aren't many songs on here that I genuinely enjoy, and a huge part of why that is, is because of just how many fucking features there are. If you get the bonus tracks, then you altogether have 14 tracks and at -least- (I haven't really looked into it that hardcore) 15 verses that aren't by Jay-Z. There's only two tracks on here that are just of Jay-Z solo, and that sucks to me because Jay-Z is such an entertaining and gripping MC. Past that, not many of the beats are that great, and that sucks because "Nigga What, Nigga Who (Originator 99) (feat. Big Jaz)" is on this album, so if you heard that single and bought this back in the day because of it, you were probably pretty fuckin' disappointed. That being said.. "It's Like That (feat. Kid Capri)" and "It's Alright (feat. Memphis Bleek)" are pretty good, and of course you also have "Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)" but past that, what more on here is worth talking about? Not much.
