$UICIDEBOY$ - Gray/Grey (2015)
This release (at least up to this point in their discography) sure is different for them! Different sounds, different vibes, different knives. I seriously had no fucking idea that $crim even had a verse in "#1 $tunna" because he raps in such a weird voice, which is to say that his voice sounds completely normal, but the weirdest change of everything came from them sampling a fucking Alesana song for "Prettyleaf", and no, I'm 110% not fucking with you. It's quite a long ways from their usual stannery for Three 6 Mafia, ain't it? Of course, the worst verse in the entire album comes from from KirbLaGoop in "Magnolia (feat. KirbLaGoop)" to try and fuck up the entire song as some form of revenge for Ruby da Cherry roasting him too hard in a group chat or something. This album has a few bangers but it's mostly some shit to chill to while smoking weed, sleepy, or both, so if you're looking to consistently get #TURNT #THE #FUCK #UP to the Super Happy Self-Harm Time Lads, you're probably gonna be shit outta luck. That being said, I fuck with it: It, oddly enough and also to their credit, -sounds- grey (or gray, if you're a fuckin' yank) and makes me wanna do too much diphenhydramine until I'm crying like a little bitch, mentally screaming, not begging, but SCREAMING at God for the privilege of just being able to go to fucking sleep. Seriously, no matter what those dumbasses on Reddit say about items around your house to get high on, don't ever fuck with DPH.
