Lil Wayne - The Suffix (2005)
A mixtape with DJ Khaled only in him hosting it, not him producing anything, at least to my knowledge. Hmm. Anyhow, this really ain't that great, as you'd probably guessed, but whatever. There's a few interesting moments on it, like when he goes over Kanye West's "Gold Digger" in "Give Head (feat. Mac Maine & Currency)" and I swear I've heard Jay-Z go over the beat in "Damage is Done", but ultimately, poor sound quality and the constant thunder sound effects shit all over any replayability that this mixtape has. Oh yeah, that being said: WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SOUND EFFECTS OF THUNDER ON THIS MIXTAPE?! You'll be listening to a song and then it comes out of nowhere!! Shit!! Fuck!! It makes me feel like I pulled up RainyMood and just left it playing in the background. Does anyone fuck with random sound effects of thunder? I sure as shit don't. Who the fuck else was hosting this mixtape? Thor?
