Nice album cover. It really invokes strong memories of diarrhea.

Comprised entirely of leftovers from "To Pimp a Butterfly" comes an album that your dumbass friends will say "ISN'T IT CRAZY HOW KENDRICK MAKES BETTER B-SIDES THAN MOST RAPPERS MAKE ALBUMS?!" in some kind of dumbass "I HAVE THE BEST TASTE!!" pseudo-boast, but literally the only people who will say that are people who don't regularly listen to hip-hop. No, this is not better than the majority of hip-hop full-length albums, this is a bunch of throwaways and it feels exactly like that. These songs are all kind of uninteresting (although the drums and overall compositions can occasionally be entertaining) and bland. I mean, can you imagine someone actually PRETENDING to get enjoyment out of "untitled 04 | 08.14.2014."? Can you imagine someone TRYING to justify its existence? Hell, while we're at it, every fucking second of "untitled 07 | 2014-2016" is pretty pointless. Here's the question I -really- want an answer to, though: Why does Kendrick steal Chance the Rapper's flow so many times on this album? Ah well, this shit is generally so uneventful that you might as well use it as white-noise for when you can't sleep at night. Shit's boring, and I know someone will read this thinking "HAHA, HE JUST WANTED BANGERS" but no, all I wanted was something with a bit more substance.

5/10
