Germ - BADSHIT (BOOTLEG) (2017)
In just a few seconds short of 21 and a half minutes, Germ attacks the listener with his grimy but slick as fuck rapping style that sounds like a methed-out Danny Brown, like, even MORE methed-out than Danny Brown already sounds, over some nice beats, the majority of which being produced by $crim of $UICIDEBOY$, which really surprised me to learn that he produced "Madonna the Slut" because it doesn't sound like anything he's done before, and I gotta say: It's a fun time.. But it's not as mind-blowing as you might expect. As much fun as it is, some of the beats sound like leftovers $crim had floating around in his "projects" folder for a while, and Germ typically works best when he's rapping on a song with someone else, which only really happens in "Rukus (feat. $UICIDEBOY$)" on here, but you know what? Fuck it, there's good shit on here to blare in the whip on your way to -AND- after robbing your local gas station at gunpoint, but you still gotta wonder just how much harder Germ is going to come the next time around, because every time I listen to him, I get the feeling that this motherfucker is going to stab the rap-game to death sooner or later.
