Neighbors Ate My Zombies - Digital Diseases (2012)
Believe it or not, despite loving the SNES-era, I've never played "Zombies Ate My Neighbors". Ever. I just don't really have an interest to. To put shit in perspective, I'd rather play "Paperboy" and I don't give a fucking shit about that game either. Can't wait for edgy reboots of both franchises on current-gen consoles.
Wouldn't you know it: Before $UICIDEBOY$, $crim and Ruby da Cherry were involved in another project, with $crim producing poppy instrumentals, and Ruby da Cherry rapping with a rapper called Taz over it, aiming for more happy/positive shit than anything else, which is weird as FUCK if you listen to $UICIDEBOY$. Anyhow, it goes without surprise that Ruby da Cherry is the better of the two rappers on this project, but ultimately it doesn't really matter much because none of the songs are really that good, no matter how catchy the hook in "Legendary" may be. It's a fun listen for the novelty of hearing Ruby da Cherry not rap about fucking killing himself for a change, but past that, even the most hardcore of G59 fans probably won't find much to latch their bleeding fingers onto, because the music tends to be pretty one-dimensional and not really the type of shit that you'd want to blare. Ah well, maybe Ruby da Cherry's old punk shit will surface one of these days. Have you HEARD that motherfucker scream? Jesus.

Here's a random photo of Ruby da Cherry since I couldn't find one of the line-up. Stylin'.
