Germ - Bad Shit (2016)
There's just something nasty about Germ, y'know? I asked my girlfriend and she feels the same way, so I know it's not just my autism getting the best of me, but -our- autism getting the best of -us-. You listen to this dude's high voice saying the shit that he does, and he just gives the impression that his breath smells a shitload like gasoline.. Because he uses it as mouthwash. Okay, I have no source or confirmation on that, but give this guy a listen and tell me that he doesn't sound like he drinks his own blood from his exposed wounds to freak out his friends. That being said, this EP, at just 5 tracks, is pretty good. There's a collaboration with $UICIDEBOY$, a collaboration with Pouya, and just general overall dirtiness over bassy beats. The main thing holding this EP back is the fact that the last track "FUCK YOU (feat. Pouya)" has a loud noise in the beat that takes away from it. Other than that, great verses from Germ and his features, nice beats, and short enough to not outstay its welcome. Alright, one last thing: Why does it seem like Germ's the type of dude to peer-pressure you into doing LSD and then hand you a gun and make you kill a police officer? Fuck, dude.
